Pain Management
Our FDA-approved treatments use Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy (FSMT) in addition to advanced medical examination and evaluation. Traditional medical approaches focus on symptoms. Our therapy gets to the root cause to treat pain, especially nerve and muscle pain from inflammation, fascial problems and scar tissue.
What is Microcurrent Pain Treatment?
Microcurrent has been used for healing purposes for over 100 years. It’s the closest known electrical current to that produced naturally by human cells. It is physiological and safe with no harmful side effects. In FSM, specific frequencies are selected to encourage natural healing and reduce pain. Frequencies have been identified for nearly every type of tissue in the body.
Our protocols combine the effectiveness of gentle microcurrent with lymphatic drainage, acupressure, and neuromuscular re-education.
What is Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment?
OMT is a system of hands-on techniques that target mechanical causes for pain and medical conditions. With OMT, the clinician uses specialized neuro-musculoskeletal manipulation of body position and muscles to masterfully achieve dramatic results. This non surgical approach to common problems typically provide patients an option that helps them avoid more invasive solutions. Our specialists are skilled in multiple methods and refine them for each individual patient. If you are not ready for surgery you should consider this treatment.
How Soon Will I Experience Pain Relief?
Pain relief and improved range of motion have been seen and sustained with one treatment, many patients do best with several treatments.
Conditions treated with FSMT and/or OMT include (but are not limited to) the pain from conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, headaches, concussions, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, TMJ syndrome, back and neck pain, failed surgeries, adhesions, acute and chronic neuropathic (nerve) pain, contractures, Achilles tendinitis, acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, tendinopathy, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, Irritable bowel syndrome, kidney stones, and shingles.
Immediately afterwards, patients can resume normal daily activities. Patients often notice changes to their immediate wellbeing and describe feeling euphoric, invigorated, and alert. There is no downtime needed for healing or post-procedure recovery.
