William Lewitt (Bill) is a Nurse Practitioner with many years of experience in Hospital and Critical Care Medicine. Bill is focused on making Osteopathic Manipulation more widely available to patients as a powerful tool to relieve suffering without invasive procedures or medication. The first Nurse Practitioner in the country to work in a hospital-based Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine department, he continues to moonlight as a Hospitalist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Lewitt join our practice. His experience, expertise, and commitment to holistic medicine will be an asset to our team and our patients,” said Dr. Mary Valvano, the founder of BetterNow Medicine.

BetterNow Medicine provides FDA-approved treatments that use Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy (FSMT) in addition to advanced medical evaluation. OMT is a non-surgical approach that uses hands-on techniques to target mechanical causes of pain and medical conditions. It provides patients with a non-invasive option to treat common problems such as nerve and muscle pain from inflammation, fascial problems, and scar tissue.
